What is Mental Health:

According to global survey, approximately264 million people of world population are affected by depression.  In low- and middle-income countries like Pakistan there is a treatment gap for mental disorder. Between 76% and 85% of people with mental disorders receive no mental health treatment.

Social well-being: How we interact with others, build relationships, and contribute to our community.

Here are some practical steps you can take to prioritize your mental health:

  2. Healthy Lifestyle: Maintain a healthy balanced diet, involve yourself in regular physical activity, and get adequate sleep.
  3. Stress Management:Coping healthy stress-management techniques like meditation and deep breathing.
  4. Build Social Connections: Build supportive relationships with friends and family.
  5. Limit Your Screen Time: Excessive use of screens (computers, smartphones, TV) can negatively impact on your mental health. So, take a breakfrom these devices and engage yourself in productive activities.
